So, I’m not actually writing this on Friday, but it will go live on Friday. I feel like I have to close the door on this chapter of my life in the proper way. And much like anything else, when I’m processing something in my life, I find I need to write about it. So as you’re reading this, it is my last day at my
Hello! Today is the first day all week I’ve written a post on the actual day I’m planning to post it. You’ve currently been enjoying some pre-scheduled posts that I wrote because I’ve been busily training my replacement at my old job. I have a little break in that action this morning, so I wanted to get a little update out regarding some bloggy business.
So I am going to get real here. Teething sucks. It is the worst. Maybe you have tried and true methods that work(ed) for your kids, but I’m just going to say it. I think teething is the devil. I kid. But now that we are finally kind of at the finish line for teething (I think. I hope.) I wanted to share some insight
One of my favorite fall traditions is going to an apple orchard. There’s one I loved going to as a child (Pine Tree Apple Orchard in White Bear for you locals) but as an adult I discovered Aamodt’s Apple Orchard in Stillwater, MN and Nate and I have enjoyed going there now for a few years as well and it’s a great place to bring
For this week’s Thrift Style Thursday, Kristi from Delightfully Kristi asked us to geek out and dress up like our favorite TV character, movie character, book character, etc. In the spirit of my new job and the fact that it was Amy Poehler’s birthday yesterday and I think she’s my spirit animal, I chose Leslie Knope from Parks and Recreation. Hi people! It’s Ollie taking over mommy’s blog! I thought it would be fun to do the Currently post to show what I’m currently doing. I’m a very busy almost 2 year old you know! So here is what I’m Currently doing! Reading – Dr. Seuss is my man. I love all his books, my favorite is Fox in Socks. So many funny words! I
I’ve been writing vague posts all summer about bridges to cross and paths to decide on which to follow and all these crazy “life is changing” type things, but I haven’t really been able to say what’s been going on and I’m sure it’s been making you all go “this is SO annoying, unfollow!” But I can finally announce some very big news. I’m going
Favorite time of the season – Stitch Fix review time! I received my box on Friday (and even did a Periscope of the live unboxing, crazy!) and now it’s time for me to share my goods and what I kept/sent back. I will fully admit something – I’m horrible about surprises. So, as soon as I see that my Fix has shipped, I always log
This week’s theme is brought to you by yours truly for Thrift Style Thursday. We did this theme last year too, but I thought it would be fun to do it again. I know in most states that kids have already been back in school for a couple of weeks already, but here in Minnesota, most of our kids started on Tuesday of this week.
I have had this post in my head for well over a month now and I just haven’t made the time to sit and write it. If you know me, you know I love purses and handbags – they’re just my jam. I don’t know why. A few years back I started down the slippery slope of being addicted to designer bags – specifically Coach.
