Another Christmas in the books! We had a wonderful one, in fact, it was my favorite Christmas with Oliver so far. Obviously when he was a newborn he wasn’t aware of what was going on. Last year he was still a bit uncertain. This year he was so into the whole thing. He loved opening presents and it was so fun to watch his reactions to things! It was a very Paw Patrol Christmas in our world, everyone got the message that it’s his favorite show – even Santa! I took so many pictures, I thought I’d just share a few of my favorites here.
He got a Paw Patrol bike from Nate’s parents – definitely a highlight and I don’t doubt that he’ll be tall enough to ride it come spring.
I think my favorite was Christmas morning, we took our time opening presents, I sipped coffee and just watched my boy get excited over every little thing. Nate spoiled me as usual, he got me a new coffee maker because my old one is awful and he also got me some nice PJ’s and a really awesome new loungey robe/sweater. I love it.
We had a delicious brunch with my parents a little later on Christmas morning as well and Ollie has a lot of new toys to play with at Grandma Daycare, especially, you guessed it, more Paw Patrol things! He also got a chalkboard easel that he’s pretty excited about too.
Later in the day on Christmas we enjoyed some time with Nate’s extended family. The rest of the weekend was pretty relaxing for the most part. We went and bought Ollie a sled since it finally snowed Christmas night and we had some fun playing out in it for a bit! I think he would have stayed out there all day, but mom and dad got a little cold.
Overall it was just the best holiday weekend and of course it went by way too fast. Now we’re looking forward to 2016, good things are on the horizon I think! I’ll have some end of year reflections this week. I also have a Stitch Fix review coming up too, so be sure to stop back on Wednesday for that post too. I hope you all had a great Christmas!
